2 engineering college buses collide in Telangana, 1 dead, 10 students injured

One died and several were injured after two buses from an engineering college collided near a temple in Telangana’s Medak district on Friday morning. The crash took place around 9:00 am as both buses were reportedly travelling at high speeds.
One driver died at the scene, while the other driver suffered injuries. Ten students, belonging to B V Raju Institute of Technology, on board sustained serious injuries and were transported to a local hospital with assistance from nearby residents.
The college management confirmed that plans are in place to transfer the critically injured students to Hyderabad for further medical treatment.
Authorities from Narsapur police have initiated an investigation into the incident to establish the cause of the collision.
